PART TIME INSTRUCTOR POOL - ANATOMY
About The Position
The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is recruiting for a part-time Anatomy instructor in the Natural Sciences department. Under administrative leadership, part-time faculty support the visions, missions, and values of the colleges and District. Responsibilities include work related to classroom assignments, student evaluation, curriculum, student advising, professional development, and assignment-specific needs. The position is part of a year-round faculty pool; applications are kept for one year, and candidates may be contacted for interviews as needed. The anticipated start date is Spring 2027. Work hours vary based on assignment, and the position is less than 67% FTE. Faculty work may involve long periods of standing and walking in a typical classroom setting; conditions may vary by subject.
Requirements
- Master's degree in any biological science; or a bachelor's degree in any biological science and a master's degree in biochemistry, biophysics, or marine science; or equivalent qualifications.
- Applicants should have significant anatomy coursework, have taught anatomy or an anatomy/physiology combination course, or both.
- Applicants seeking equivalency must submit an additional Equivalency Determination Form and include equivalency materials.
- Successful fingerprint clearance is required before employment.
