PART TIME INSTRUCTOR POOL - BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES
About The Position
The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is recruiting part-time faculty for its Biological Sciences instructor pool in the Science department. Under administrative leadership, part-time faculty perform tasks that support the visions, missions, and values of the colleges and District. Responsibilities relate to classroom assignments, student evaluation, curriculum, student advising, professional development, and assignment-specific needs. Assignments and work hours vary. Applications are retained in the pool for one year, and candidates may be contacted for interviews as needs arise. The anticipated start date is Spring 2027.
Requirements
- Master's degree in any biological or physical science; or bachelor's degree in any biological or physical science and master's degree in biochemistry, biophysics, or marine science; or equivalent.
- Applicants seeking equivalency must submit the Equivalency Determination Form and supporting equivalency materials.
- Successful fingerprint clearance is required before employment.
