About The Position

Instructors train TRUMPF employees and customers on TRUMPF machines, covering product training, operation, maintenance, and programming. Training is delivered in standardized classes at the training center in Farmington and in individualized classes at customer sites. The role includes domestic and international travel of up to 25%.

Requirements

• An in-depth technical background is required, preferably with TRUMPF or other CNC sheet metal machine tool products.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong PC skills, including operating systems, networking, and Office.
• A two-year technical school degree in Engineering or a suitable equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Nice To Haves

• Training experience is strongly preferred.
• Field service experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training programs to TRUMPF employees and customers on assigned product lines.
• Assess and enhance training materials and procedures with the Head of Press brake Training to align with customer needs and maximize satisfaction.
• Collaborate with headquarters technical trainers and curriculum developers to review and refine training content and documentation.
• Conduct on-site training or research at customer facilities and TRUMPF locations in the U.S. and internationally, with up to 25% travel.
• Maintain accurate records of training schedules and attendance.
• Evaluate TRUMPF Service Engineers' performance throughout the training process.
• Collect and analyze student feedback to evaluate and improve training courses.
• Contribute to projects and participate in Continuous Improvement and SYNCHRO initiatives.
