About The Position

Barry’s seeks instructors who can inspire, motivate, and energize clients. Instructors have freedom to shape workouts through their workout design, music choices, and teaching style, while maintaining Barry’s distinct aesthetic, atmosphere, and culture. They deliver high-quality training and customer service and represent Barry’s both inside and outside class.

Requirements

Hold and maintain an instructor or personal training certification.
Hold and maintain CPR certification.
Have experience leading group training or working as a personal trainer.
Be available for non-traditional hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Have a friendly, outgoing, and perceptive personality, with integrity and self-confidence.
Have an energizing, positive, and optimistic attitude.
Have a passion for fitness and helping others reach their goals.
Show enthusiasm for the Barry’s brand.
Have proven dependability and reliability.
Have exceptional customer service skills and a desire to build strong interpersonal relationships.
Be able to kneel, bend, reach, climb, and stand for long durations.
Be able to move and lift equipment and supplies weighing 30 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

Deliver first-class training to customers while maintaining Barry’s distinct aesthetic, appearance, atmosphere, and culture.
Inspire and energize clients and provide superior customer service inside and outside class.
Act as a Barry’s ambassador inside and outside class.
