PART TIME INSTRUCTOR POOL - MICROBIOLOGY
About The Position
The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is recruiting part-time faculty for its Microbiology instructor pool in the Science & Engineering department. Under administrative leadership, part-time faculty perform work supporting the visions, missions, and values of the colleges and District. Responsibilities relate to the classroom assignment, student evaluation, curriculum, student advising, professional development, and assignment-specific needs. Work hours vary based on assignment. Applications are retained in the pool for one year, and candidates may be contacted for interviews as needed. The anticipated start date is Spring 2027.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Microbiology, or the equivalent.
- Applicants applying under equivalency must submit an Equivalency Determination Form and equivalency materials.
- Successful fingerprint clearance is required before employment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out responsibilities related to the classroom assignment.
- Evaluate students.
- Contribute to curriculum-related work.
- Provide student advising.
- Participate in professional development.
- Address assignment-specific needs.
