About The Position

The College of Southern Nevada is seeking a Part-Time Instructor for Water/Wastewater Treatment courses. Applications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined by course availability. This role involves both lecture and lab instruction, evaluating student mastery of skills, providing advisement, and developing course materials. Some program and curriculum development may be requested, and attendance at staff meetings and recruitment activities is expected.

Requirements

• 5 Years of Water/Wastewater Treatment experience, OR Applied Science degree in Water/Wastewater Treatment from an accredited College/ University or equivalent degree

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College/ University in Wastewater Treatment or equivalent
• Experience working with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforce
• Knowledge of computer classroom technologies
• Knowledge of Canvas or other Learning Management Systems

Responsibilities

• Lecture and Lab instruction for Water/Wastewater Treatment courses
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes
• Provide advisement to students
• Develop syllabi and course materials
