About The Position

Brock University is seeking an Instructor for STAT 1P99 Applied Statistics for Life Sciences for the Fall D2 term. This position involves scheduled contact time with students, preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration. The compensation for a full course is $15,775.20, effective September 1, 2026, for approximately 390 hours. Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course. Requirements

  • PhD in Statistics or a related discipline. (In the absence of PhD applicants, applicants with an MSc in Mathematics or Statistics will be considered.)
  • Prior teaching and/or research experience in Statistics.
  • Evidence of competent and effective teaching at the undergraduate university level (letters of reference and course/performance evaluations).
