About The Position
Brock University is seeking to fill an existing vacancy for an Instructor for STAT 1P98 Practical Statistics. This position is governed by a Collective Agreement. The compensation for this role is effective September 1, 2026, with a rate of $7,887.59 per half course (nominally 195 hours) or $15,775.20 per full course (nominally 390 hours). Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture, or equivalent, are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course.
Requirements
- PhD in Statistics or a related discipline. (In the absence of PhD applicants, applicants with an MSc in Mathematics or Statistics will be considered.)
- Prior teaching and/or research experience in Statistics.
- Evidence of competent and effective teaching at the undergraduate university level (letters of reference and course/performance evaluations).
