The College of Southern Nevada (CSN), Department of Human Behavior, is currently seeking a full-time tenure-track Sociology Instructor. Teaching assignments may be multi-campus with the possibility of day, evening, weekends, on-ground, online, and/or hybrid classes in accordance with department needs. Under the direction of the Department Chair, the Sociology Instructor will be responsible for providing instruction for introductory and upper-level Sociology courses, supporting the Sociology curriculum in support of the Sociology Associate of Arts Degree, developing syllabi, assignments, assessments, and other course materials, and assessing and evaluating student mastery of skills and competencies. The instructor will also participate in program/division meetings and activities, serve on department and college-wide committees, collaborate with Sociology faculty on projects and initiatives, participate in student assistance and advising, and engage in college and community service activities. Multi-campus teaching, day, evening, and weekend classes may be required.
