About The Position

The Instructor Recruiting/Database Coordinator assists with Ski School instructor correspondence, individual instructor data and statistics, and documentation and follow-up related to Ski School staff and guest injuries. This is a seasonal, part-time position with employment dates from November to April. The starting pay rate is $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Experience with all Microsoft 365 applications.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Background in HR systems.
• Experience in recruiting and hiring.
• Familiarity with Deer Valley Ski School systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Recruiting Manager with administrative aspects of onboarding for new and returning staff.
• Assist with employee housing applications and allotments for the Skier Services division.
• Maintain past and present instructor personnel files, including updating pay rates and certifications.
• Assist with the certification reimbursement process and documentation.
• Continuously update instructor placement in ski school scheduling systems.
• Ensure accurate documentation of guest injuries that occur during ski school lessons.
• Document instructor injuries and work closely with the HR workers’ compensation team.
• Follow up with injured instructors and adjust schedules as needed.
• Assist the ski school scheduling team with pre-season updates for new and returning instructors.
• Provide statistical support for ski school on-snow supervisor teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
