Requirements

  • Technical proficiency in CBT platforms and simulation systems
  • Instructional expertise in adult learning, curriculum design, and performance‑based training
  • Subject matter knowledge in defense operations, systems, or applicable technical domains

Responsibilities

  • Provides instruction and operational services to plan, coordinate, and develop training products, materials, packages, scenario development, testing, and simulation role players
  • Develop and update training materials in collaboration with training specialists and subject matter experts, ensuring content aligns with current doctrine, technology, and operational needs
  • Shall ensure database enemy SAF entities, supporting SAF entities, and routes have been loaded for the selected training scenario
  • CBTI duties include operators for CCTT AAR Suites, Master Control Console (MCC), SAF workstations, Instructor Operator Station (IOS) workstations
  • CBTI’s provide training exercise support, including assisting exercise planning and scenario development (e.g., developing new, modifying existing, and testing exercise scenarios), including Special Operations Forces (SOF); providing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs); and replicating higher headquarters
  • To facilitate training exercise support, the CBTI shall provide SAF support operations
  • Courses are offered through Computer Based Training Instruction (CBTI), Field or Classroom environments
  • Provide over‑the‑shoulder support and subject matter expertise during exercises, drills, and multinational training events
  • Assist Monitoring and evaluating student progress, using assessment tools and performance metrics to ensure training effectiveness
  • Operate and integrate simulation tools for realistic training scenarios (AAR Suites, Master Control Console (MCC), SAF workstations, Instructor Operator Station (IOS) workstations)
