The Department of Physiology & Biophysics at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine seeks a qualified candidate to fill a faculty position at the rank of Instructor (non-tenure track). The Instructor will lead and support research projects focused on mitochondrial dysfunction and proteostasis in neurodegenerative diseases, including Parkinson's disease and ALS, and related disorders. The Instructor will design and execute mechanistic and translational research studies, mentor trainees, assist with laboratory management and contribute to grant writing and manuscript preparation. The position is intended for individuals pursuing an academic research career and provides opportunities to develop independent research projects and apply for external funding.
