About The Position
This individual will be primarily responsible for teaching Journalism courses for College of Southern Nevada.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Journalism.

- Two years' experience teaching college journalism courses.
Responsibilities
- Teach Journalism course content.
- Evaluate students' written work and student news stories.
- Administer department exams.
- Post information to Learning Management Software (CANVAS).
- Complete assessment assignments.
- Teach news writing, research skills, interviewing skills, and news gathering techniques.
- Submit semester documents including, but not limited to, syllabus, exams, gradebooks, attendance, and participation rosters.
- Willingness to teach courses in-person at multiple campus locations.
