The individual will be primarily responsible for teaching communication courses for College of Southern Nevada.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Communication Studies.
• Experience teaching public speaking.

Nice To Haves

• Two years' or more of experience teaching public speaking.

Responsibilities

• Teach public speaking course content.
• Evaluate student performances.
• Administer department exams.
• Post information to Learning Management Software (CANVAS).
• Complete assessment assignments.
• Teach research skills, outline writing and oral communication skills.
• Submit semester documents including, but not limited to, syllabus, exams, gradebooks, attendance, and participation rosters.
• Willingness to teach courses in-person at multiple campus locations.
