About The Position
The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is seeking a Part-Time Instructor for English as a Second Language (ESL) for FY 2027. This role involves teaching college-level ESL courses, developing course materials, evaluating student progress, and providing student advisement. The instructor will teach at multiple campuses in Clark County and may be required to teach day, evening, and/or weekend courses. Requirements
- Master's degree in TESOL, Linguistics or Second Language acquisition from a regionally accredited College or University

Nice To Haves
- Experience teaching ESL in higher education.
- Experience with computer-assisted instruction and interactive laboratories
Responsibilities
- Teaching college-level courses in field
- Develop syllabi and course materials
- Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes
- Provide an excellent teaching experience as well as student advisement, recruitment activities and program/curriculum development
- Courses taught at multiple campuses in Clark County
- Be available to teach day, evening and/or weekend courses
Benefits
- Salary: $925.00 per credit hour.
