About The Position

The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is seeking a Part-Time Instructor for English as a Second Language (ESL) for Fiscal Year 2027. CSN is Nevada's largest college and one of the largest in the nation, operating in over 50 locations including 3 main campuses, as well as multiple sites and centers throughout the southern Nevada area. As a comprehensive, multi-campus community college, and the largest and most ethnically diverse institution in the state of Nevada, CSN educates over 50,000 students. This role involves teaching college-level ESL courses, developing syllabi and course materials, evaluating student mastery of skills, and providing an excellent teaching experience. The instructor will also be involved in student advisement, recruitment activities, and program/curriculum development. Courses are taught at multiple campuses in Clark County, and the instructor must be available to teach day, evening, and/or weekend courses.

Requirements

Master's degree in TESOL, Linguistics or Second Language acquisition from a regionally accredited College or University
