About The Position
The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is seeking a part-time Instructor for Collision Technology for Fiscal Year 2027. This role involves providing lecture and lab instruction, ensuring lab safety, evaluating student mastery of skills, and advising students. Some curriculum development and participation in staff meetings and recruitment activities may also be requested. CSN is Nevada's largest college, serving over 50,000 students annually across multiple campuses and locations, and is committed to providing inclusive learning and working environments that support diversity and student success. Requirements
- ICAR Platinum Certified
- 5 Years of Collision Repair industry experience
Nice To Haves
- Associate of Applied Science Degree in Collision Technologies
- Knowledge of computer classroom technologies
- Experience working with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforce
- Knowledge in Canvas or other Learning Management Systems
Responsibilities
- Lecture and Lab instruction for Autobody/Collision courses
- Provide Lab Safety Training
- Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes
- Provide advisement to students
- Some program and or curriculum development may be requested
- Attend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requested
