About The Position

The College of Nursing Community and Population Health Department at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences in Memphis, Tennessee, is seeking a full-time non-tenure track Instructor/Assistant Professor. The primary teaching responsibilities will be within the BSN program, encompassing both didactic coursework and clinical supervision of students. This role involves in-person and online didactic and clinical teaching, as well as teaching across various programs and/or concentrations.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required.
  • RN License required.

Nice To Haves

  • Doctoral Degree in Nursing from an accredited program preferred.
  • Teaching experience in a professional nursing program is desired.
  • Experience in population/public health and nursing leadership preferred.
  • Undergraduate teaching experience is preferred.
  • Experience in curriculum development, in-person, and online teaching preferred.
  • Evidence of scholarship and professional service activities is preferred.

Responsibilities
