The University of Louisiana Monroe (ULM) invites applications for a full-time, nine-month faculty appointment at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor in Disaster Management. The successful candidate will also serve as Program Coordinator for ULM’s new Bachelor of Science in Disaster Management, launched in Fall 2026 within the School of Construction Management. Rank and appointment type will be commensurate with the candidate’s education, experience, scholarly record, and ULM criteria. The program prepares students to help communities and organizations anticipate risk, sustain readiness, respond effectively, and recover from natural, technological, and human-caused disasters. ULM seeks a collaborative teacher-scholar or scholar-practitioner with broad competence in disaster and emergency management who can teach across the curriculum in both face-to-face and online formats and help build a distinctive, practice-connected program.
