About The Position

BRITEWISE is seeking an experienced Instructional Support Technician to join the team at Allegheny Valley School District. The position supports Tier 1 and Tier 2 technology needs of students, faculty, and staff, including training and support for educational and operational applications and coordinating technology integration into curriculum and instructional processes. The role requires frequent travel between school district offices, buildings, classrooms, and facilities.

Requirements

Associate's degree in technology or education, or two years of experience in a similar role.
Previous experience in an educational setting.
Experience repairing Chromebook laptops.
Strong ability to learn new things, master their use, and train others.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong knowledge of Google Workspace apps.
Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Chrome operating systems.
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
Ability to investigate and troubleshoot technical problems.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Exceptional organizational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
Ability to teach complex technology tasks and concepts to non-technical individuals and groups.
Ability to present information effectively and respond articulately to questions from administrators, staff, parents, and students.
Self-motivated, independent, flexible, cooperative, and responsible.
Must successfully pass multiple background checks and clearances.
