About The Position

The Department of Finance at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Instructional Student Assistant Pool. We welcome applications from currently enrolled CSUF students for a position within the Department of Finance that may fall under one of the following categories. Responsibilities include answering emails, preparing reports, updating the department website, and maintaining faculty and students’ records and documents. The Instructional Student Assistant (ISA) will assist Finance Department faculty members by proctoring 120+ cap exams, grading exams, and providing research assistance and technical support. ISAs may also assist with enrollment tracking and may be required to independently and collaboratively create flyers and video for marketing and branding of the Finance Department. Other duties and tasks as assigned. This is a pool of Instructional Student Assistant for the department to draw on as necessary. Appointments from the pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term. Applicants may be offered employment on very short notice.

Requirements

  • Current student at CSUF and is enrolled/registered (fees paid) in a current regular semester as a new or continuing student.
  • Student who has completed the prior semester (has not graduated), or who is registered for the subsequent semester.
  • In good academic standing within the Department of Finance (not on academic probation, continued probation, academic dismissal).
  • Student who is authorized to work in the United States and can provide employment eligibility documents.
