About The Position
Ridge Park Charter Academy in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is hiring an Instructional Paraprofessional to provide instructional assistance to students who need academic intervention. The role supports students through one-to-one assistance or group workshops, as directed by the classroom teacher and designated instructional leader. The paraprofessional is expected to support students’ academic, moral, and social development and help implement a results-driven curriculum intended to promote growth from fall to spring testing. The position also participates in professional development and articulation meetings with classroom teachers and parents as required.
Requirements
- Must meet state requirements for being a Title 1 paraprofessional.
- Knowledge of and ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and/or mathematics.
- Understanding of and capability to navigate technical systems.

- Previous experience working in a school or with school-age children is preferred.
