We are seeking a creative Instructional Designer (Mid-Level) to support the NIC Curriculum Modernization, E-Learning Development, & Instructor-Led Training Revision Support initiative. This position is contingent on contract award.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, Educational Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of professional experience in instructional systems design and e-learning courseware development.
- Hands-on proficiency with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 Suite and ELB Gold Suite Studio (Lectora).
- Familiarity with media integration, human-computer interaction, and accessibility principles.
- Applied knowledge of adult learning principles and ISD methodologies (ADDIE/SAM).
- Experience designing e-learning modules, micro-learning courses, and instructor-led training packages.
- Strong written and oral communication skills to interface effectively with SMEs and team members.
Responsibilities
- Analyze performance, knowledge, and skill gaps to design and develop comprehensive instructional materials and performance support solutions.
- Apply adult learning theories and instructional design frameworks (such as ADDIE or SAM) to conduct task and audience analyses.
- Create competency-based e-learning and instructor-led curricula.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to ensure content accuracy.
- Utilize modern authoring tools to translate complex operational concepts into engaging digital and blended learning experiences.
