Responsibilities include conducting needs assessments, collaborating on learning strategies, guiding the use of learning technologies, coaching other instructional designers, managing projects, facilitating meetings, and presenting to stakeholders. The role also requires collecting and analyzing training effectiveness metrics for continuous improvement and managing project close-out activities. A separate contract role for an Instructional Designer is also described, focusing on designing and developing training materials for apprenticeships in the Power Generation utility industry, including hands-on activities, guides, videos, assessments, and simulations. This role involves task analysis, defining learning objectives, applying company standards, and participating in milestone meetings with subject matter experts.
