About The Position

As an Instructional Designer II at MISO, you will be a key member of the Technical Development Team, focused on creating learning experiences that enhance employee and stakeholder technical expertise and agility. You will employ various learning approaches and collaborate with subject matter experts and leaders to address the organization's evolving needs. Your role will involve leading the entire training content lifecycle, from intake and analysis to design, development, and maintenance, while adhering to best practices in learning and development. You may also support the LMS Administrator, facilitate instructor-led sessions, or assist with simulation-based training.

Requirements

At least a Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design Technology or related field.
At least six years of related Instructional Design work experience.
Proficiency with Articulate Storyline 360, Rise 360, Camtasia, and Adobe Creative Suite (portfolio required).
A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
The ability to work effectively in virtual conferencing platforms (Webex, Teams).
The ability to develop and maintain instructional materials including multimedia, simulations, and e-learning.
The ability to manage project plans, timelines, and documentation.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a setting that had high compliance requirements (energy, utilities, healthcare, aviation, etc.).
Experience with Co-pilot and AI add-on for Articulate 360.

Responsibilities
