Instructional Assistant Professor
About The Position
The Department of History at the University of Mississippi invites applications for an Instructional Assistant Professor of History. This is a one year appointment beginning August 2026, with the possibility of a one-year renewal, and the teaching load is 4/4. PhD is required prior to appointment. Duties will include teaching undergraduate courses at both the introductory and advanced levels in both United States and Latin American history. This position will be open until filled or an adequate applicant pool is reached. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until an adequate applicant pool is established.
