About The Position
The Instructional Assistant I position at Earl LeGette Elementary School is a part-time, permanent role working 6 hours per day, 5 days a week, for 9 months a year. The role involves supporting instructional activities within the school environment. The salary ranges from $18.11 to $20.65 per hour. The work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:40 AM to 3:25 PM.
Requirements
- Passing the IA Proficiency Test or having the CBEST is required, regardless of educational background.
- Must pre-qualify by attaching your High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must pre-qualify by attaching one document [A or B] from the following list: [A] Passing score from San Juan Unified School District's Proficiency Exam - testing date must be April 2005 to current. No other school district's proficiency exam will be accepted. OR [B] Official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST).

Nice To Haves
- Possession of, or willingness and ability to obtain a valid California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire or before driving any equipment/vehicle requiring this license.
