About The Position

Assist a classroom teacher with student instruction and routine clerical work, and provide student supervision. The position works through the summer months.

Requirements

• High school diploma, high school transcript showing graduation, GED, or higher degree.
• At least two years of study at an institution of higher education, an associate degree or higher, or passage of the District NCLB Compliance test.
• Valid California Driver’s License.
• Fingerprint and TB clearance.
• Successful completion of an oral interview.
• Passage of the approved written Instructional Aide I district test.
• Signed letter of introduction.
• Three signed, work-related letters of recommendation or references from the last two years.
• Resume.

Responsibilities

• Assist a classroom teacher with the instruction of students.
• Relieve a classroom teacher of routine clerical work.
• Provide student supervision.
