About The Position
The Instructional Aide I assists a classroom teacher with student instruction, routine clerical work, and student supervision. The position is assigned to ELO P & TK at Helendale Elementary School, works 5 hours, and continues through the summer months.
Requirements
- Proof of high school graduation: a high school diploma, transcript showing a graduation date, GED, or higher degree.
- Complete at least two years of study at an institution of higher education, hold an associate degree or higher, or pass the District NCLB Compliance test.
- Possess a valid California Driver’s License.
- Obtain fingerprint and TB clearance.
- Successfully complete an oral interview.
- Pass the approved written Instructional Aide I district test.
- Submit a signed letter of introduction and signed work-related letter(s) of recommendation or reference.
- Submit a resume.
Responsibilities
- Assist a classroom teacher with the instruction of students.
- Relieve a classroom teacher of routine clerical work.
- Provide student supervision.
