About The Position
The general objective of the workshop is to increase the participants' facility with and confidence in their use of oral English in a relatively informal and relaxed atmosphere. The level of the English workshop in Oral Communication Skills depends on the level of the majority of participants who register. OLBI reserves the right to cancel any course with insufficient course enrollment. From October 26 to October 30, 2026, Monday to Friday 9:00am to 12:00pm. This course is given online (virtual mode).
Requirements
- B.A. with specialization in a field relevant to the teaching of L2 English or Higher Certificate in L2 English Teaching.
- Two years of experience teaching ESL at the college and/or university level.
- Previous experience teaching this course or an equivalent ESL course.
- Experience with heterogeneous groups.
- Acceptable level of education/experience may be considered equivalent to the required training and/or demonstrated experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach oral communication skills in an intensive, intermediate/advanced level English workshop.
- Adapt teaching to the level of the participants.
- Conduct the course in a virtual mode.
