About The Position

The Installer is a 1099 contractor responsible for accurately and professionally installing acrylic bath and shower products at customer job sites, following company procedures and meeting customer expectations. The role involves bathroom remodeling and other related construction work in occupied homes. Installers must transport materials to home sites using their own suitable vehicle and provide their own tools and equipment. The position is based in Kansas City, Kansas, with road-warrior travel.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of bathroom remodeling, home renovation, or home repair experience.
• Hands-on plumbing skills, including valves, fixtures, drains, PEX, or related bathroom plumbing.
• Own a truck, enclosed trailer, box truck, or full-size van capable of transporting materials.
• Own installation tools and equipment.
• Ability to complete professional work inside occupied homes.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 100 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clean finish work.
• Professional communication with homeowners.
• Business insurance or willingness to obtain it if selected.

Responsibilities

• Demolish, replace, and/or expand tubs or showers.
• Install plumbing valves, PEX, fixtures, and acrylic wall surrounds.
• Complete additional project work as needed, which may include luxury vinyl flooring, cabinets, countertops, and drywall work or repair.
• Follow ZINTEX Remodeling Group installation standards and procedures when installing products and providing services.
• Maintain a pleasant and professional attitude when interacting with customers.
• Respect customers’ property and leave work areas clean.
• Maintain a professional appearance while working in customers’ homes.
• Explain the functionality, care, and upkeep of customers’ new tubs or showers.
• Accurately complete and submit required paperwork and photos.
