About The Position

The Installer Apprentice I – Electrical role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building management systems. This entry-level position is designed for individuals eager to start their career in electrical controls installation.

Requirements

Construction industry experience is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various environments.

Nice To Haves

Must be able to lift and carry equipment and materials.
Must be able to do prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending
Must be able to work safely on a ladder.
Occasional exposure to outside weather on job sites.
Ability to walk job sites for prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to occasionally lift at least 35 lbs. solo and 50 lbs. in tandem lifts.

Responsibilities

Assist in the installation of building management systems, including wiring, controls, and related components.
Perform installation of electrical conduit and cables, ensuring proper routing and secure connections according to project specifications and safety standards.
Support senior technicians in troubleshooting and repairing system issues.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Participate in training sessions to develop technical skills and knowledge.
Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
Clean workspace
