About The Position

Lead Low-Voltage Installation Technician. This role is for a trustworthy, hands-on individual who is technically inclined and curious about how things work. The position is field-based, not remote or hybrid, and requires experience on construction sites. The ideal candidate has a steady work history, a pleasant disposition, and high EQ. The role involves programming of Control 4, Lutron, and Ubiquiti, building and lacing equipment racks, advanced setup and configuration of devices, advanced understanding and setup of networks, and advanced troubleshooting of devices. Internal support for all other technicians is also a responsibility. Candidates with basic skills and no programming experience will receive lower pay. Potential backgrounds include AV Installation (Residential & Commercial), Security Installation, Low-Voltage Cable Pulling, Managed Services (MSP) if installation is involved, or Electrician (HV or LV).

Requirements

• Experience on construction sites
• Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools
• A steady work history (3yrs between hops)
• A pleasant disposition
• High EQ
• Technically inclined
• Hands-on and love being in the field
