About The Position
ProTech Audio Video is seeking a Low-Voltage Installation Technician for high-end residential AV, lighting, shading, and control systems. The ideal candidate is trustworthy, eager to learn, hands-on, technically inclined, and enjoys field work. Experience on construction sites, ability to use tools, a steady work history, and high emotional intelligence are essential.
Requirements
- Experience on construction sites
- Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools
- A steady work history (3yrs between hops)
- Pleasant disposition
- High EQ

- Lower Skill or No Programming = Less Pay
Responsibilities
- Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron, Crestron)
- Mount devices at the ends of those wires
- Build and lace equipment racks
- Setup and configuration of devices
- Understanding of networks
- Troubleshooting of devices
- Programming (Lutron/C4/Savant/Crestron)
