About The Position

The Install Field Supervisor will oversee and supervise the company's installation operations. This role involves addressing customer needs for installation-related service callbacks, coaching lead and apprentice installation technicians, and assessing team training requirements. The supervisor will also be responsible for procuring equipment and materials, assigning daily jobs, providing on-site supervision, resolving callbacks and warranty issues, conducting performance check-ins, supporting sales initiatives, installing HVAC systems, reading wiring diagrams, designing ductwork, troubleshooting and repairing HVAC equipment, using diagnostic tools, maintaining records, following Field Service Management software procedures, providing excellent customer service, communicating next steps, converting opportunities, meeting KPIs, and driving company vans safely.

Requirements

  • Install HVAC systems according to specifications and local codes.
  • Read HVAC wiring diagrams.
  • Design and build ductwork for optimal airflow and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment.
  • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Follow all procedures using Field Service Management software.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Communicate effectively with clients.
  • Communicate next-steps clearly to customers and office support staff.
  • Convert Opportunities and meet KPIs.
  • Drive company vans safely.
  • Experience in coaching and assessing training needs.
  • Ability to manage team performance and morale.
  • Understanding of install revenue per hour and gross profit metrics.
  • Ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and 5-star reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Drive company vans to job sites while ensuring safe transportation of tools and equipment.

  • Respond to technical inquiries and provide guidance to all installation technicians in the field as available.
