About The Position

The Inspector visually inspects units for defects and performs weight checks on basic units to verify correct fill volume. The role requires qualifying on manual and automated inspection systems, maintaining accountability records, following batch records and applicable procedures, and helping keep the department clean, orderly, and safe. Inspectors also participate in process improvement activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience, or veterans/military experience, or an associate degree in a science-related discipline.

Nice To Haves

• Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow batch record instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), cGMPs, and applicable departmental procedures.
• Qualify on manual and automated inspection systems.
• Visually inspect units for defects.
• Perform weight checks on basic units to verify correct fill volume.
• Maintain accountability records, including tally sheets, label preparation, and batch record information.
• Perform departmental housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
• Participate in process improvement activities.
