About The Position

Waters Corporation is currently looking for an Inside Service Sales Specialist who will be responsible for selling and renewing service contracts and managing repair-related (demand) sales opportunities for existing customers across the US. The role offers the opportunity to learn and apply sales skills for customer phone outreach, lead generation, customer event follow up and opportunity maintenance and creation. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Effective diagnostic selling skills or willingess to learn and develop in develop in this area.
  • Custome-focused with exceptional written, verbal, and organizational skills,
  • Self-motivated, focused, and driven, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Outgoing and comforatble making outbound calls, building rapport, and engaging customers proactively.

Nice To Haves

  • A science degree (e.g., chemistry, biology, food science, clinical science, nutrition) is preferred.
  • 2+ years of laboratory and/or sales experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell service contract solutions to both existing and prospective customers.
  • Utilize SAP to access account information and generate demand and service contract quotes.
  • Engage customers by providing product information and asking targeted, qualifying questions to understand their needs.
  • Conduct outbound customer calls to follow up on quotes, drive engagement, and close sales opportunities.
  • Leverage data analytics and territory reports to identify prospects and support business development efforts.
  • Manage and prioritize a high-volume opportunity pipeline using CRM/account management tools.
  • Track sales activity, open opportunities, and follow-up actions within CRM.
  • Achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance metrics (KPIs) as defined by management.
