About The Position

As a Branch Inside Sales Support Representative/Warehouseperson, you will be an essential part of the Gentek team, ensuring customers receive the products and/or information they need. This role involves becoming a product knowledge expert to support customers and maintain excellent customer service. The position requires a focus on shipping and receiving, customer service, and order processing within a B2B wholesale environment.

Requirements

Completed High School certificate a must.
Able to read and write word and letter/number sequences.
Must be computer proficient.
High compliance with standards, requirements, and processes.
Emotional intelligence that facilitates respectful and courteous interactions with customers and other Gentek employees.
Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and perform in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Post-secondary education an asset.
Experience in the building industry (e.g., hardware store, pro-desk) is valuable, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Pick orders and prepare them in staging areas for delivery.
Assist with loading and unloading of delivery trucks.
Pick orders for immediate pick-up.
Ensure accuracy of order against paperwork.
Move incoming product to the designated location in the branch.
Greet customers as they enter the distribution branch/warehouse, or as they call.
Serve them immediately or indicate that they will be helped as quickly as we can manage.
Answer customer inquiries about the materials and services Gentek provides.
Make it easy for customers to do business with us. You are their business partner.
Enter and process customer orders through Gentek’s order system.
Provide accurate and helpful information about products, availability, and delivery status.
Maintain accurate documentation related to customers and orders.
