About The Position

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for customers within an assigned territory. You’ll support clients via phone and email with quotes, order processing, expediting, logistics coordination, warranties, and general account support. You will work closely with a dedicated Outside Sales Representative, acting as the internal sales and service partner for the territory. Our goal is for customers to rely on you as their go-to contact for day-to-day needs, while the Outside Sales Rep focuses on onsite visits, new business development, and meetings.

Requirements

  • 1–5 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or account support
  • Open to new grads with strong communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to process information quickly and accurately
  • Ability to anticipate follow-up needs and proactively provide solutions
  • Comfortable learning new systems, products, and customer accounts
  • Strong reliability, professionalism, and desire for long-term growth
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
  • Positive attitude and willingness to engage in a collaborative, in-office culture

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial distribution, or automotive environments
  • Previous experience working with SAP
  • Exposure to territory-based sales or distributor support models

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary customer contact via phone and email
  • Prepare and manage quotations, orders, credits, warranties, and returns
  • Expedite orders and coordinate logistics and delivery updates
  • Maintain accurate customer and order data in the CRM (SAP experience is a plus)
  • Proactively anticipate customer needs using product availability and customer footprint knowledge
  • Partner closely with an Outside Sales Representative to support territory growth
  • Prioritize and manage multiple requests simultaneously (calls, emails, order updates)
