About The Position

We're looking for an energetic, customer-focused Inside Sales Representative Support to join our Sales team in Houston. This is a role where your communication skills, problem-solving instincts, and passion for delivering exceptional service will directly impact customer satisfaction and company growth. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love building relationships, and take pride in knowing your products inside and out this role is for you. Candidates MUST be local to the Houston, TX area( Near Hobby Airport) for the interview process and work environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in customer service, inside sales, or a related customer-facing role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills — you can write a professional email and handle a tough call with ease
  • Sharp multitasker: you can be on a call with a customer and entering an order at the same time
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and CRM tools
  • Experience with ERP systems; Epicor knowledge is a strong advantage
  • Familiarity with shipping logistics, including UPS, FedEx, and freight forwarding
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Fluency in Spanish is a big plus — we serve a diverse customer base

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound customer inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and a sense of urgency
  • Prepare accurate sales quotes, contracts, and process orders from start to finish
  • Troubleshoot customer concerns and resolve them proactively — turning a problem into a positive experience
  • Identify and act on cross-sell and upsell opportunities that genuinely benefit the customer
  • Maintain clean, thorough records in our CRM system and ERP platform (Epicor)
  • Coordinate with internal departments : Production, Engineering, Accounting and more — to keep things moving
  • Follow up with customers weekly to ensure satisfaction and build lasting relationships
  • Keep our sales team informed of key client contacts, anticipated deals, and any emerging challenges
  • Support international shipping logistics, working with major carriers like UPS, FedEx, and freight forwarders
  • Step in to support teammates during absences and keep the team running smoothly
