Inside Sales Supervisor

About The Position

The Inside Sales Supervisor oversees the Area’s Inside Sales Team and provides sales expertise to help sell WM services and generate additional revenue. The role maintains the corporate sales strategy, supports customer satisfaction, supervises team activity, and provides training, coaching, and performance management. The position primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (accredited), or a high school diploma or GED (accredited) plus four years of relevant work experience.
Two years of direct business-to-business sales experience, in addition to the education requirements.

Responsibilities

Maintain and reinforce the corporate sales strategy and design with the Inside Sales Team.
Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction on sales transactions.
Work with Area Sales Managers to resolve escalated or unique customer issues.
Supervise activities of the Inside Sales Department.
Ensure team members meet or exceed sales call activity goals for new sales, lead generation, and contact productivity.
Forecast and recruit qualified candidates for available or upgraded Inside Sales Team positions.
Conduct ongoing formal training and informal coaching for Inside Sales Representatives.
Encourage feedback and provide answers, direction, and assistance to team members as needed.
Participate in training and coaching the Inside Sales staff.
Set up and maintain accurate customer records for interactions, including prospect data, contracts, orders, and service machine documentation.
Manage employee performance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
