About The Position

Serve as inside sales support for the HDT sales team. Process quotes and orders in SAP. Directly support the sales members and customers for all quotes and orders. Directly interact with customers on the phone and via email to process quotes and orders, and troubleshoot issues. Serve as a back-up to other inside sales representatives when needed. Building and maintaining positive business relationships with customers and relevant HDT departments is critical. Requirements

• Must be able to practice confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of mail processes such as Federal Express and UPS
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work a varied schedule, willing to work overtime when necessary
• Possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with customers, employees and managers at all levels within the company
• Possesses strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in standard business software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office)
• Applicants must be U.S. Persons or must be eligible to obtain the required export authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce. Nice To Haves

• Associates Degree in Business or related field preferred or work equivalent
• Government sales and Federal contracting experience a plus
• Experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred
• Experience in computer based timekeeping systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit quotations as assigned
• Maintain quotation files and record product quotation data in required spreadsheets or databases
• Perform general administrative tasks to include filing and general data entry in spreadsheets, word documents, and databases as required
• Maintain records for all quotations assigned in Box
• Provide assistance by phone and email to include both sales representatives and customers
• Enter all orders as assigned into SAP
• Resolve order issues (e.g., late orders, wrong product sent, etc.)
• Interface daily with internal partners to include Accounting, Inside Sales, Outside Sales, and multiple Operations functions
• Attend sales meetings, customer, and product training programs as deemed appropriate
• Other administrative tasks relating to the sales process, as required
