This role blends account management, new business development, and sales operations—perfect for a motivated, relationship-driven sales professional. This position is based out of our headquarters office, south of downtown St. Paul where we welcome an on-site work environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of B2B inside sales or account management experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A relationship-focused sales professional with strong communication skills
  • A self-starter who can manage priorities and follow through consistently
  • Comfort working toward activity targets, sales quotas, and performance metrics
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • CRM and sales reporting experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Grow & Strengthen Existing Customer Relationships (60%): Cultivate trusted relationships to maintain and expand existing accounts, Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas through consistent, value-driven outreach, Develop deep knowledge of Scanlan Single Use products, the industry, and your assigned territory, Leverage customer history, preferences, and prior activity to drive repeat business, Execute timely and professional follow-up after calls, inquiries, and customer interactions, Share customer insights and sales activity updates with the broader sales team, Increase revenue through cross-selling, upselling, and reactivating dormant accounts, Create and execute a business development plan outlining the activity required to meet territory goals.
  • Develop New Customer Relationships (20%): Identify and contact new prospects within your assigned territory, Provide product information, content, and pre-sales support to prospective customers, Partner with sales specialists, regional managers, and distributor representatives to convert leads into sales, Promote and sell new products as they are introduced, Respond to inbound leads from the website, tradeshows, and other channels in a timely manner, Consistently meet or exceed daily outbound call targets, Represent Scanlan professionally in all customer interactions.
  • Manage Sales Data & Support Sales Initiatives (20%): Maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM records for customers, activities, and opportunities, Track and document follow-ups, tradeshow leads, and resulting sales, Generate reports, forecasts, and KPI dashboards to monitor sales activity, pipeline health, and revenue performance, Analyze sales data and present insights and recommendations to leadership, Support sales campaigns, marketing initiatives, and product sample distribution, Participate in sales meetings, tradeshows, and event preparation 2-3 times a year.
