About The Position

Roofmart, a leading national distributor for exterior building supply (roofing, siding, metal, and building envelope), is seeking enthusiastic, driven, and innovative individuals to join their team. This role serves as the primary point of contact for in-store and phone customers, and is also responsible for picking, preparing, and loading purchased products onto company or customer trucks. Roofmart has over 50 locations across Canada and is committed to customer satisfaction and growth.

Requirements

College diploma and/or 3 or more years of Warehouse and Forklift Experience
3 or more years of successful retail, business, accounting, or sales experience
Ability to lift, push, and carry 80-100lbs repeatedly
Strong customer service skills
Authorized to work in Canada

Nice To Haves

Valid Forklift License (training can be provided)
Knowledge of the roofing industry

Responsibilities

Serve as the customer's first point of contact when shopping in-store or calling the branch.
Complete sales transactions.
Perform daily banking reconciliation reports.
Handle purchasing.
Pick, prepare, and load purchased product onto the company truck or customer's truck.
Offload and put away product delivered to the branch.
Ensure safe and efficient movement and storage of product within the facility.
Lift 80lbs and operate a lift truck.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
Demonstrate excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
