About The Position
The Shipper/Receiver handles shipments of finished products loaded onto trucks safely and efficiently. The role is responsible for accountability of finished products and goods in the shipping warehouse, checking product quality before loading, managing warehouse inventory, and completing monthly finished-goods inventories. The position is based at Nestlé’s manufacturing facility in Miami, Oklahoma.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of forklift experience.
- Basic proficiency in English to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload trailers while ensuring proper weight distribution, load integrity, and compliance with shipping instructions.
- Navigate and follow procedures through the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Operate shipping equipment, including forklifts with attachments such as pull-pack and slip sheet equipment, in a warehouse environment.
- Participate in shift handover meetings and continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure accountability of finished products and goods in the shipping warehouse.
- Ensure products meet quality standards before loading onto trucks.
- Manage warehouse inventory and complete monthly inventory of finished goods.
