About The Position

ABC Supply Interiors is a specialty distributor of drywall, ceiling tiles, steel framing, and other building materials for commercial and residential contractors. The Inside Sales Representative assists customers in selecting materials for building projects and provides customer service and building-material expertise throughout the sales process. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in developing ABC Supply Interiors solutions to meet their needs.
• Explain product and service features and benefits.
• Build rapport with new customers and maintain relationships with long-term customers.
• Solicit customer feedback on products and services.
• Coordinate delivery requests for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with developing the branch sales plan and strategy.
• Assist with designing and executing the merchandising strategy.
• Identify customer needs, recommend appropriate products and solutions, and upsell additional products and supplies.
• Answer incoming phone calls and emails in a timely manner.
• Accept payments and apply them to the appropriate customer accounts.
• Coordinate customer product pickups with the warehouse.
• Reorder products to keep store and warehouse shelves stocked.
• Address and resolve service concerns.
