About The Position

Ferguson is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support customers and sales associates by identifying suitable products and solutions, providing timely quotations, processing accurate sales orders, and coordinating deliveries. The role also responds to sales calls, provides general information, and addresses customer questions and concerns. The position is approved as remote within the United States or hybrid in Newport News, Virginia, in accordance with company policy. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern Time.

Requirements

Exhibit strong sales skills, including the ability to upsell.
Respond quickly to customer needs and make decisions in a timely manner.
React well in a fast-paced environment and follow through on commitments.
Demonstrate general digital literacy, including Microsoft Office skills.
Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and processes.

Nice To Haves

0–3 years of sales and/or customer service experience is preferred.
Experience in plumbing, HVAC, or other trades.
A highly motivated, customer-service-oriented approach and ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

Work with Sales associates to support customer needs by determining the best products and solutions.
Provide personalized customer service through timely quotations and accurate sales orders.
Coordinate deliveries on behalf of customers.
Answer sales calls for general information and address and resolve customer concerns or questions.
Use the customer relationship management (CRM) system and phone system effectively.
