The Inside Sales Representative provides exceptional customer service while supporting sales growth through product knowledge, quotations, order management, and customer relationship development. Serving as a primary point of contact for contractors, builders, homeowners, and commercial customers, this role assists with product selection, pricing, order processing, and project support. The representative works closely with Outside Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Delivery teams to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and efficiently and to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Requirements
- Previous front-line customer service and sales experience.
- Ability to effectively communicate and follow up with customers, vendors, team members, and management.
- Eagerness and ability to learn and retain extensive product information.
Nice To Haves
- Industry experience with construction or building materials.
- Spanish bilingual proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process requests for price quotes, orders, returns, cancellations, product information and availability, billing inquiries, and corrections.
- Plan and implement telemarketing and prospecting objectives.
- Coordinate delivery and pickup of orders with operations teams.
- Provide support to the Outside Sales team.
- Adhere to pricing guidelines and customer financial services policies.
