About The Position

Upside Innovations, a manufacturer of aluminum ramps, steps, canopies, OSHA steps, covered walkways, and custom access products, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join its growing team onsite in West Chester, Ohio. The role supports the Modular Construction, Commercial Construction, and Power Generation markets by responding to incoming web leads, qualifying opportunities, preparing quotes, and following up with prospective customers. The representative works closely with the sales team to sell aluminum access products and services, and coordinates with Project Management to support complete project handoffs and a seamless customer experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional sales experience.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage and persuade customers.
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Confidence negotiating with customers to drive successful sales outcomes.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of sales experience (preferred).
• Construction industry experience or knowledge (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to incoming web leads, qualify opportunities, understand project requirements, and prepare and send accurate quotes.
• Educate customers about Upside Innovations’ products, explain their advantages, and recommend solutions that meet project needs.
• Follow up proactively on quoted projects, maintain quote statuses, and schedule follow-up tasks in Copper CRM until opportunities are won or closed.
• Generate new quoting opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and targeted outreach.
• Research prospective customers and past projects to identify decision makers at architecture firms, engineering firms, general contractors, and school districts, then contact those prospects.
• Support other sales team members with pricing and quoting as needed.
• Coordinate with the Project Management team to provide complete upfront project information, revise quotes as needed, and support a seamless customer experience.
