About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative works with clients to provide a successful customer experience and generate sales across all product lines. The role serves existing customers and secures prospective customers by phone, email, and direct office appointments, providing information about product specifications, services, pricing, delivery, and installation scheduling. The position focuses on designers, remodelers, select builders, and retail customers, and includes showroom hours, including Saturdays, with a comp day provided for Saturday hours.

The representative delivers product presentations and showroom assistance, develops new customer accounts, enters and follows up on orders, coordinates with production on orders, delivery, and installation, and follows through to ensure customer satisfaction. The role also supports phone and email inquiries, inventory, collections, customer issue resolution, showroom upkeep, training, and after-hours events and sponsorships as required.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience or hands-on knowledge in construction-industry product sales.
• Self-motivated and driven to close sales.
• Ability to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside the company.
• Computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional showroom experience and assist customers on the showroom floor.
• Present products and services to customers.
• Answer phones and assist customers by phone and email.
• Follow up with customers by phone to secure orders and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Generate and develop new customer business accounts to increase revenue at a profitable level.
• Enter orders into the computer system and coordinate with production regarding orders, delivery, and installation.
• Collect deposits and balances before delivery and assist with collections as necessary.
• Resolve customer issues.
• Maintain and clean a specific area of the showroom.
• Assist with inventory as required.
• Attend training functions as required.
• Participate in after-hours events and sponsorships as required.
